Hi, I’m Zhao. You can also call me John. I am a Game Artist based in Toronto, Canada. I have four years of experience in game development — from conceptualization of characters, environments and items — and products — from 2D illustrations to 3D modelling. I graduated from the Game Art and Design program at Centennial College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media Art at Jilin Animation Institute in China. I pride myself in being able to work in a team environment but produce great work individually. My approach to modelling and concept-building of games always combines stylized aesthetics and reason. My passion relies on making innovative and creative characters, environments and games in the future.
